I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Ludwig Erhard ifo Center for Social Market Economy and Institutional Economics, a member of the Junior Faculty at LMU Munich, a CESifo Research Network Affiliate, and a visiting researcher at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB).
My research examines how social insurance policies shape labor markets and public finances, for which I primarily rely on rich administrative data from Germany. Some of my current projects focus on the labor market effects of wage mandates in low-wage sectors and the general equilibrium effects of large-scale social insurance reforms. Moreover, I am investigating the reallocative impacts of worker retention policies during economic crises.
I received a Ph.D. in Public Policy from Harvard University in 2025 and a B.Sc. in International Economics and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Tübingen in 2016.
